Journeying to Santorini

Santorini is linked by plane to the rest of Greece (Athens) as well as to other Aegean islands (Mykonos, Crete, Rhodes), and during the summer months by international flights to various countries, such as Cyprus, England, Germany, Spain, Italy, France, Switzerland, Finland, Sweden, Norway and others.

The flight from Athens Airport Eleftherios Venizelos to Santorini International Airport (JTR THIRA) with Olympic Airways or Aegean Airlines is 35 minutes, while you can travel with Sky Express to or from Crete or Mykonos.
If you wish to visit Santorini by boat, there are daily services from the ports of Piraeus and Rafina. The fast ships take about 5 hours to reach Santorini while the conventional services take 8 – 10 hours. The voyage is an unforgettable experience as it gives you the opportunity to see other islands in the Aegean, such as Mykonos, Paros, Naxos, Ios, Sikinos, Folegandros and others.

Santorini is also linked by coastal lines to Kos, Rhodes and Crete.
